Anna Giannopoulou is a graduate of the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, majoring in Music Science and specializing in Music Pedagogy and Psychology of Music, and a final year student in the Master’s degree programme “Music Education in Formal and Informal Environments” of the Department of Music Studies of the Athens University of Music and Performing Arts. She holds an honours degree in Harmony and a Diploma in Monody, Intermediate level in Piano, and has attended courses in Music Kinetics, Rhythm and Jazz Choir at the Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien in Hannover, Germany.
She has participated in numerous concerts as a choir member (Camerata Vocalis, Female Echoes etc.), as a soloist in monody, as a member of a philharmonic orchestra, as a member of a symphonic youth orchestra. He has attended Melodrama and has been a member of theatre groups. He has attended seminars in choral conducting, music pedagogy, Alexander Technique, and the
ISME (International Society for Music Education) in 2012.
Since 2016 she has been working as a music educator for infants to 12 years old and adults, in the fields of music kinetics, music education, piano, vocal technique, choir, theory-solfege, harmony (higher theory) and music technology, individually and in groups. She has guided the musical teaching of musical pieces, while she has composed and organized musical and music-theatrical performances in the context of Christmas and summer presentations of infant, post-nursery and kindergartens, KDAP (Centre for Creative Employment of Children), kindergartens, conservatory.
