Chrysanthi Paggela was born in 1990 in Katerini. At an early age she started piano lessons and from the age of 12 she started cello lessons at the Music School of Katerini. She began her studies in double bass at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki at the age of 18, with G. P. Pisgela, who taught her at the Conservatory of Thessaloniki. He started at the Conservatory of Music from 18 years of age with G. Gralistas (A ́ top K.O.T.). From the second year of her senior year she continued under V. Liarmakopoulos and graduated from the Thessaloniki State Conservatory in January 2019. He also holds a degree in Harmony and Counterpoint from the Thessaloniki State Conservatory of Music.
She has attended Baroque Chamber Music courses with D. Gountaroulis and educational programs that combine music and arts with pedagogy, with a focus on the child.
She has participated in masterclasses with Wies de Boeve, Dimitar Ivanov, Christos Komisopoulos, Yannis Hatzis.
She has worked as a musician and coordinator in the Educational Programs for Primary and Secondary students of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. She has been in charge of teaching music and movement at the Happy Kids KDAP of Thessaloniki. She has been teaching Music Education, Advanced Theory and Classical Double Bass since 2017 and since October 2020 she was a substitute teacher of Double Bass at the Music School of Piraeus.
She was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki State Conservatory as an a ́ leader for 4 years. She was a regular member of the Hellenic Camerata as principal member, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki Concert Hall (MOYSA), and the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. In May 2022 she participated as a member with the Philharmonia Orchestra of Athens.
