He was born in Rhodes in 1980. He began his musical studies at the age of five, learning piano and theory with Rena Kasdagli. At the age of 12 he starts playing the guitar and enrols at the Municipal Conservatory of Rhodes under the tutelage of Yannis Giakoumakis.
In 1999 he enters the Department of Philosophy and Social Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Crete, where he graduates in 2005 with a degree that recognizes his pedagogical competence.
During his stay in Crete, he continues his guitar studies with his teachers Alexis Froudarakis and Manolis Vrontinos. In November 2005 he starts his military service which he completes in November 2006.
He returns to Rhodes and enrolls in the Greek Conservatory with Yannis Giakoumakis as his teacher. In June 2008 he receives his degree in guitar with an unanimous “A” grade. In June 2010 he receives his diploma in guitar from the Hellenic Conservatory with a grade of excellent unanimously. In September 2010 he enrols at the Athens Contemporary Conservatory and attends a postgraduate program in guitar under the tutelage of Michalis Kontaxakis, which he completes in June 2013 with a jury of Miltos Loyadis, Kostas Kotsiolis and Nikos Platyrachos with a grade of excellent unanimously.
He has attended seminars and participated in festivals with Hubert Käppel, Oscar Ghiglia, Roland Dyens, Annielo Desiderio, Kazuhito Yamashita, Roberto Aussel, Dusan Bogdanovic, Zoran Dukic, Evangelos Asimakopoulos, Lisa Zoi, Kostas Kotsiolis, Kostas Grigoras, etc. a He has given solo recitals in Athens and Rhodes, while in October 2010 he formed the guitar duo Cueca with the soloist Antonis Liopyris, with whom he has given recitals in Rhodes and Athens and received an honorary distinction from UNESCO.
They have recorded for the German label The Human Voice. In April 2014 they released their debut album under the artistic direction of Michalis Kondaxakis entitled “Summer Garden” with compositions by M. De Falla, I. Albeniz, H. Villa-Lobos, S. Assad, P. Bellinati and others.
He has collaborated with piano soloist Theodosia Dokou, tenor Giuseppe Talamo and the Berlin Metropolitan Orchestra under the direction of Andrea Tusacciu. He has collaborated with the Camerata in “The Beatles Tribute Project” at the Athens Concert Hall, conducted by Nikos Platyrachos.
He is a founding and active member of the guitar ensemble “Kitharis”, under the direction of Iakovos Kolanian, with whom he has performed at the Athens Concert Hall, the Acropolis Museum, Parnassos Hall, etc. He plays guitar and sings in the band “The Peppers Beatles Tribute Band” He has taught classical guitar at the Athens Contemporary Conservatory, at the Pythagorean Conservatory in Athens, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall, at the Athens Philharmonic Hall and at the Athens Philharmonic Hall.
