He was born in Athens in August 1979. He began taking piano lessons at the age of 9 with Maria Rota and advanced to the second level of advanced studies; at the same time, at the age of 15, he taught himself to play the electric guitar. In 1998, he was admitted to the Department of Music Studies at the Ionian University, where he set aside the piano to focus on the electric guitar under the guidance of Vasilis Rakopoulos. As part of his university coursework, he focused on jazz improvisation and free improvisation under the supervision of Dimos Dimitriadis, as well as on the composition of electroacoustic music under the supervision of Andreas Mniestris.
After graduating, he has performed in numerous concerts with the Free Improvisation Ensemble of the Department of Music Studies at the Ionian University, with the Ionian Jazz Ensemble II, and with the musical groups Trio, 14, Ultra Noise Foundation, Paracroussis, Fidel Son, and Night On Earth. With Night On Earth, he participated in the recording of their two albums. From 2011 to 2015, he served as a live session guitarist for the heavy metal band Zemial, performing at international festivals in Germany and Norway and touring with them in the U.S. and Canada. In 2016, he set to music the poetry collection *Songs for a Demon* by Giorgos Daglas, featuring Lakis Chalkias and Giorgos Romanos, and released it on B-Otherside Records with his Lagos Quintet, while also recording the electric In 2019, he released the EP *Metal Jazz* with the Lagos Quintet, and in 2021, he released the solo project *Magnetar – Ad Victoriam Machinae*, an experimental electronic guitar project. In 2022, he joined the avant-garde electronic jazz duo VV Quasar and released their album *The Flattener*, recording the guitar and handling production and mixing.
From 2008 to the present, he has been working as an electric guitar instructor.
