She studied Advanced Theory (harmony, counterpoint and fugue) with Panagiotis Adam, and composition (20th century music currents) with Kostas Varotsis (Diploma in Composition with distinction). She also studied pre-school pedagogy, music education, piano and voice. She attended seminars in choir conducting and Byzantine music.
For the last twenty years she has been working regularly as a music consultant and music editor for films as well as for the documentary series “Paraskinio” on public television, with tributes to important personalities of art and culture.
For many years she has been involved in research on the life and work of Dimitris Mitropoulos, bringing to light unpublished archival material and providing the music for the documentary film “Naked Hands”, a tribute to the great Greek conductor and composer. The film was screened at the Athens Festival (2011-2013), at the Athens House of Arts and Letters, and at the Aegina Music Festival. Her works have been performed in Greece (on commission, and in concerts of the Greek Composers’ Union) and abroad. Alongside her artistic activity, she is also very active in the field of music education, teaching higher theory, piano, music education and directing children’s choirs and orchestras in primary and secondary education.
