He was born and raised in Greece. He came into contact with the accordion at an early age, attending the Music School of Serres. He received his first musical impulses by listening and playing Greek music, rebetiko (urban folk music) and traditional music of the region where he grew up (Northern Greece).
He then studied classical accordion (bayan) at the University of Macedonia with Konstantinos Rapti and at the University of Music of Anover (HMTMH) with Elsbeth Moser. For his studies he received scholarships from the Onassis Foundation, the I.K.Y., the “Stiftung für die HMTMH” and the “Christos Stamatiou” scholarship among others.
In the last years (2017-2019) he lived in Buenos Aires learning bandoneon and getting in touch with tango.
He recorded albums with two bands he created in Argentina. During his stay in Argentina he taught Greek music at the ¨Fundación Helénica en Argentina¨ foundation.
In 2019-2020 he participates in the production ¨4 seasons¨ of the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera and is a member of the Oros Ensemble.
