Artemis Bogri-Classical Singing

She was born in Athens and her first musical studies in piano. She began classical singing training in the supervision of Marina Krilovici, at the Athenaeum Conservatory, from where she
graduated with a unanimous full mark degree, 1st Award and a golden metal. She has attended singing seminars by Daphne Evangelatos, Jeanette Pilou, Kostas Paskalis and Aris Christofellis, with
whom she continues her studies in singing performance. She was an active member of the Athens Opera Studio (Greek National Opera) from 2009 to 2011.
She has given concerts with the Athens State Orchestra, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, Athens Municipality Orchestra, Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of Colours, Symphonic
Orchestra of Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, Armonia Atenea, Ergon Ensemble and Hellenic Group of Contemporary Music. The last years she has been collaborating with the greek composer
George Couroupos, performing works of him in world premiere( The scene of miracles, Voice of Oak, Leporella). She has performed multiple times in productions of the Greek National Opera. Her roles include: Komponist in Richard Strauss’ “Ariadne auf Naxos”, Rosina in Rossini’s“Il barbiere di Siviglia”, Angelina in Rossini’s “Cenerentola”, Dorabella in Mozart’s “Cosi fan tutte”, Stephano in Gounod’s “ Roméo et Juliette”, Cherubino in Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”, Mercedes in Bizet’s “ Carmen”. She has recently sung the title role in Paolo Career’s Despo, due to the commemoration of the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution(GNO) and she has also performed Hanna Glawari in Lehar’s “Die lustige Witwe” (Athens Concert Hall). She participated in the first worldwide revival of C.W. Gluck’s “Il trionfo di Clelia”( Royal Opera House- Linbury Studio) and she is performing abreast contemporary repertoire( tribute Icones for the
80th birthday of the pioneering British composer Peter Maxwell Davies ” Miss Donnithorne’s maggot”, as well as at the circle Madness ( T. Larcher’s “ My illness is the medicine I need”- Athens Festival),the cycle of 16 songs by Nikos Skalkottas(Athens Concert Hall), in their last revised version, due to the tribute for the 70th anniversary of his death. She received her B.S degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus.
