Spanaki Loukia – Classical Singing

The soprano Loukia Spanaki grew up in Piraeus. From a very young age she was involved in music, studying piano. Her debut was with ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ which was followed by roles such as Violetta in Traviata, the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Rosalinde in The Bat, Mouzetta in Bohemia, Madame Hearts in Imbrosario.

He has appeared in important lyric theatres in Europe such as Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Stuttgart Opera, Cremona, Pavia, Como, Brescia, etc. He obtained a diploma in piano from the Piraeus Conservatory (class of G. Manesis) and a diploma in harmony, counterpoint and fugue from the National Conservatory (class of N. Xanthooli). She studied singing at the Athenaeum Conservatory with Marina Krilowitz, where she obtained her diploma and continued with M.L. Cioni in Milano as a scholarship holder of the Maria Callas Foundation.

She won the first prize in the Panhellenic Singing Competition “Margarita Perra” in Thessaloniki. In 2003 she won the first prize for the role of Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor at the international competition Giuseppe di Stefano in Sicily, while in 2004 she won the first prize at the international competition AS.LI.CO. , in Milan for the role of Violetta in Traviata. She has participated in many concerts and has given solo recitals, performing with many orchestras (Greece and abroad). In Greece she has collaborated with the National Opera, the Athens Concert Hall, the Athens-Epidavros Festival, the Athens State Orchestra, the Athens State Orchestra, the Athens State Orchestra, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the ERT Orchestra, etc.
